MISSION

The Bernardine Franciscan Sisters Foundation, Inc. is a Virginia nonprofit, non-stock corporation established in 1996 for the following purposes:

To promote, support, conduct and/or participate in charitable, scientific and/or educational activities related to the:

• healthcare and charitable works of the Bernardine Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis;
• rendering of care to the sick and injured or to the promotion of health;
• advancement of general health in the local community;
• provision of resources for the restoration of health and the prevention of disease.

To offer, establish, provide, oversee and promote facilities, programs and/or services in support and furtherance of the tradition, mission and charism of the Bernardine Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis.
